Gabe Preston, Principal
A community and land use planner, economic development planner and economic analyst since 1998, Gabe has achieved a balance between the information/technical elements of planning and the community outreach side of the job. As a key contributor on over 100 planning projects in small towns and rural communities in 12 states, Gabe is an accomplished planner with an inclusive facilitation style that encourages authentic public involvement and builds support for each plan.
Gabe’s broad experience includes small town and downtown community planning and revitalization, land use codes, economic analyses, housing-needs assessments, market studies, fiscal analyses/impact fees, leakage studies, economic development, infill planning, transportation/connectivity planning and GIS mapping. Gabe’s educational background is in mathematics (BA, St. John’s College) and rural geography (MS, University of Colorado).
